Shu Kingdom (221-263), one of the Three Kingdoms. In AD 221, Liu Bei, a Han descendant proclaimed himself emperor in Chengdu. The country is also known as Shu-Han, a dynastic state of China, in short, Shu. Shu Kingdom is located in the southwest region of Ancient China, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The terrain is steep, thus rendering her to be easy to defend and difficult to attack. After the battle of Yiling, Liu Bei’s Kingdom did not end up with a lot of resources. During Zhuge Liang’s governance of Shu, the power was restored mainly because the southern, central and southwestern regions had been conquered, large amount of natural resources such as material, population, equipment, and minerals were obtained from those regions, leading to a stronger kingdom. With regards to military matters, Shu were often the aggressors, however, her strength gradually declined and was subsequently destroyed by the Wei Kingdom controlled by the Sima Family.
